ACCESSIBILTIY & INCLUSTION STATEMENT

Scarlet Studio is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. We believe that pole dance is for all individuals, regardless of age, gender, ability or background. Our mission is to ensure that every person feels comfortable, supported, and empowered in our studio while they learn proper pole dance foundations and techniques.

PHYSICAL ACCESSIBILITY:

Unfortunately, our studio location is not accessible to individuals with mobility challenges that require ramps, or elevators.

INCLUSIVE CLASSES:

We offer a variety of classes tailored to different skill levels and abilities. Our instructors are trained to provide modifications and support to ensure everyone can participate safely and comfortably.

SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT:

We foster a supportive and judgement-free environment. Our staff and community are dedicated to encouraging and uplifting each other. Respect and kindness are core values in our studio.

DIVERSITY & REPRESENTATION:

We celebrate diversity and strive to create a space where everyone feels seen and valued. Our team is dedicated to continuously learning and implementing inclusive practices to better serve our diverse community.

GENDER INCLUSIVITY:

We welcome individuals of all gender indentities and expressions. Our studio is a safe space for everyone (including LGBTQ+ and sex workers). Due to the nature and history of Pole Dance we default to he/she pronouns, however if you have specific pronouns you would like us to use, please let us know so that we may properly accommodate you.

PRIVACY & DISCRETION:

We value your privacy (and ours) and we are committed to maintaining descretion. All personal information shared with us is kept confidential, and we respect the privacy of all our students. We understand the importance of a safe and private space for everyone, especially those who may have concerns about privacy.

FEEDBACK & IMPROVMENT:

We are not perfect. We welcome suggestions, feedback or concerns that will help us improve our efforts to be accessible and inclusive. We wish nothing more than for Scarlet Studio to be a place where everyone feels welcome and safe to learn the art of Pole Dance.
